Modern Techniques in Image Denoising: A Review

The main challenge in digital image processing in research field is to remove noise from the original image. With respect to various assumptions, advantages, applications and limitations, different denoising algorithms have been proposed. In this paper, some important denoising techniques are discussed and classification of such techniques is listed. The denoising procedure which can be applied to all the types of noises is discussed at the last.
