Effect of Flow of Solutions in Cylindrical Microchannels of Different Dimensions

Akhil Vaid, Randhir Singh, Parveen Lehana

The behavior of a particular system which is initially difficult to predict can be analyzed and studied using microfluidics devices. In this research paper the work carried out to develop a cost effective technique to fabricate cylindrical microchannels is discussed. The results of investigations of the flow of FeCl2 solution in these fabricated cylindrical microchannels is illustrated with requiste figures and charts. Duration of the time for the flow of solution was calculated for the channel length of 3.3 cm. Diameter of the channels fabricated are in the PDMS are 0.25 mm, 0.5 mm, and 0.1 mm. Flow of the solution at different elevation angel from 0 degree to 90 degree with step size of 30 degree.
